I got to spend a bit of time with some friends at the beach last weekend, this image is not really related to that but I guess it was on my mind when I was drawing this because all of a sudden I drew a coast background. This is a study of subtle transparencies and light as render in mechanical pencil. I have started work on a pdf portfolio. and some day soon I will offer a selection of PDF greeting cards that you can print out and give to people.

Just when your thinking “this person could not possibly be more schizophrenic with their choice of media” I throw these things at you. Made entirely out of polymer clay spread on cotton, mounted on drift wood I have no idea what to call them. I’m feeling cheeky so these pieces will join the much reviled “ART” page of the website when I take some detail shots.

So things slowed down for a week at my day job, we decided it was time to give the old equipment a new paint job. I painted the mixer cartoon pink and sprayed ACME on three sides to let people know how well this mixer does it job.

For those that don’t know ACME is a real brand name, they actually make animation equipment. You can tell what early animators thought of this brand by the performance of wile-e-coyote’s many ACME products

So recently I printed out a bunch of pages of a book and then realized I had no stapler to bind then together. So did I go to the store to buy one? Heavens NO! I invented a process to make a perfect bound book out of the common house hold items I had around. I figured I should share this simple process with all of you out there on the Internet.
